Pelican 1510-000-110 Carry On Case
Pelican 1510 review

I bought this to replace the Pelican 1450 that I mistakenly bought thinking it would be big enough (the case was large enough for all of my stuff, but it was too shallow for my camera bodies when coupled with the battery grips, so when you closed it you would have to hold it shut like an overfilled suitcase and put pressure on the hotshoe of the camera).
This thing takes it all in stride. The double throw latches make it exceedingly easy to open and close the case, and it fits all my gear with room to spare, which is a problem I've had with other cases I've had over the years.
In it, I keep:
2 Nikon D600 bodies with MB-D14 battery grips
1 SB-700 Speedlight
3 primes (Nikon 24mm f/2.8D, 35mm f/2D, 50mm f/1.8D)
1 Tamron 10-24mm
1 Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D
I really like the rollers and the telescoping handle. Not the most glamorous, but durable (made from the same polymer as the case) and it gets the job done.

Don’t know what can be said about a Pelican case that has not already been said. If you do not have one, think you need one but are not sure, go for it. There will not be a better case made. Look at what you want to put in it and allow for enough room for foam to protect it and you can rest assured your belongings will be fine for a long time.

I'm thrilled to death with this purchase - we do alot of traveling and this is the perfect size for all of our cameras and lenses, it goes in the RV with us every trip we take. You never go wrong with any Pelican product! Highly recommend this for size and function. If you're a photographer, this will hold 2 full frame camera bodies and at least 3 med and 1 large lenses plus many extras in the netted compartments.
4Solidly made, quality materials, but design lacks refinement
Byweiyu zhouon April 30, 2015
Just received the 1510NF today. Here are my assessments:
Pros: very strong, rugged. Cons: heavy, small interior volume. The designer seems to focus on the strength of the design but not enough attention to maximize the volume and minimize the mass. I believe there is room to improve the design considerably. The latches, hinges and the reinforcement ribs took a lot of spaces. The design is bulky and not refined. The materials used are very good. Hardwares are made of stainless steel, case seems to be made of quality ABS, the puller handle subassembly looks like glass fiber ABS composite material. The wheels look average, but it gets stainless ball bearings. I like things that are robust. But there are so many potential design improvements could have been realized. For that I give it four stars.
